There was an auto accident in Elk Grove Village, IL on Tuesday, February 1st, 2017. The accident occurred at Arlington Heights Rd. and Higgins Rd. at 12:07 p.m. Firefighters removed the door of the driver-side to extricate one person. Two people were taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. One person was transported to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
There was an auto accident in Schaumburg, IL on Tuesday, February 1st, 2017. The accident occurred at the intersection of Old Schaumburg Rd. and Meacham Rd. A vehicle was making a right turn on Old Schaumburg Rd. and slid into a school bus due to icy road conditions. Another vehicle slammed into the bus about five minutes later while making the same right turn. Police were already on the scene during that time. A school bus driver and one elementary school student had minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured and they didn’t have passengers with them.

There was an auto accident that occurred on January 3, 2017, in Naperville, Illinois. The accident occurred on Ogden Ave. at Aurora Ave. just after 4:00 a.m. An Aurora ambulance collided with a black Toyota Camry. Two Aurora paramedics were extricated from the ambulance and the driver of the car, a 52-year-old woman from Naperville, was extricated also. They were all transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. The injuries appear to be non-life threatening. No patients were in the ambulance during the time of the accident.
