Man alleged that while getting on a bus, the doors closed on his backpack. When he told this to the driver of the bus, the driver began to swear and verbally abuse him. The bus driver claimed that the man refused to pay a fare and threatened him so he flagged down the police. The man also alleged that the police officers verbally abused him, physically attacked him, and wrongfully charged him with multiple offenses causing him emotional distress and injuries to his body. The police officers assert that the the man violently assaulted them when they were trying to take him into custody.
