Summary: Plaintiff church volunteer was killed instantly when her car was struck by a man as he was fleeing the police at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour. Police insisted that they were not near the man’s car and had discontinued their attempt to apprehend him due to the excessive speeds he was driving.
