Medical Malpractice Attorneys in Lake County

It happens more often than you might think; equipment like sponges, towels, needles, instruments, retractors and other small items and fragments of tools have been found in patients and Bob’s client was no exception.

After having her gallbladder removed Bob’s client was still experiencing pain in her abdomen area. A post surgical ultrasound revealed that a sponge had been left behind when she was sewed up during the procedure.  Another surgery had to be performed to remove the sponge leaving her with additional scar tissue and pain and suffering having to endure another surgery that otherwise would have been unnecessary.

She was awarded $79,000.
