Chicago Police came to a family owned and occupied apartment building to execute a search warrant. Plaintiff contended that the nine Defendant officers illegally entered the residence, illegally searched their second floor apartment, arrested and/or seized each of them in the second floor apartment, seized money from their apartment and filed a false drug charge against Plaintiff Anthony Sipp. Defendants asserted, and proved, that they had a valid search warrant, that all Plaintiff’s were on the first floor, and that Plaintiff Anthony Sipp was in possession of cannabis.
Verdict: Not Guilty on all counts
