Construction Injury to Foot

Construction Injury to Foot

When a pizza delivery man makes a left hand turn onto Cedar Lake Road in Round Lake Beach, IL he actually ran over the plaintiffs foot while he was trying to crossing the street.

Contributing to the cause of the accident was the sidewalk construction that partially blocked both the driver and the pedestrian’s vision due to the barriers and cones. Additionally, there was no alternative method laid out for pedestrians to cross the street.

Attorney Edens was able to collect an award of $25,000 from the driver of the vehicle and an additional $15,000 from the sidewalk construction company for not properly creating an alternative crossing path for pedestrians.
